The Geyserwise Thermostat with Standard Probe (GEY013) is the thermal cut-out component used to replace a conventional geyser thermostat when installing a Geyserwise controller. It is not a complete controller but is a critical safety and temperature-sensing device designed to work with Geyserwise control units like the Max, Delta T, and TSE1.
Key Features
- The thermostat has an integrated mechanical thermal cut-out that trips at 90°C to prevent the water from overheating. It requires manual resetting after a high-temperature event.
- It contains a temperature probe that sends accurate temperature data to the main Geyserwise controller, allowing for precise temperature regulation.
- The probe is designed to detect an empty cylinder, which prevents the heating element from activating and burning out.
