Product Overview
A landscape roof bracket, or roof hook, is a mounting component used to attach solar panels in a horizontal orientation to a tiled, corrugated, or metal roof. Unlike portrait installations where rails run parallel to the roof ridge, landscape installations require the rails to run perpendicular to the ridge.
Key Features
- The base plate of the roof hook is screwed into the rafters that support the roof structure.
- The hook's shaft is designed to slide under the tile, with the tile sitting flush over the base plate. This requires temporarily removing or sometimes grinding the tile slightly to ensure a watertight fit.
